important Information

Rates: All of our rates are in Canadian funds. We give fair exchange on US funds. Prices subject to change without notice.

Payment: Due to our new register purchase, we can only accept one form of payment per running tab. We cannot split your cottage bill several ways. It is also very time consuming - please keep in mind there are many other customers that need to check out too. The remaining balance can be paid with a credit card, debit or cash. The tab receipt will list the cottage amount and or boat rental or docking fee amount along with anything else you wish to put on your tab. The tab balance must be paid off at the end of your stay.

Cleaning Fee:  A $250 cleaning fee will be applied to the card we have on file for your unit if the unit is left in disarray. All of our cottages/apartments are "housekeeping units" meaning we expect the unit to be left the way it was when you first walked in. We provide vacuums, brooms and mops for clean up in every unit, as well as cleaning supplies in our store to purchase.

DEPOSIT POLICY: A $250 deposit is required for one bedroom units and $500 for all larger units. No reservation is guaranteed without a deposit.  A refund, less 10%, will be given if notice of cancellation is received 45 days in advance of May 11th (our 2024 opening date). If you cancel your reservation under 45 days notice of this date, the deposit will be kept entirely. We will no longer be pushing deposits due to Covid-19 or any circumstance. Once the cancellation has been made during the current season, you will lose your right to book the same cabin/same time for the following year. Any bookings made after May 11th, your deposit will be non-refunable.

To make a deposit, you can call with a valid credit card, mail a check or if you live in Canada we are now set up for interac e-transfer. E-transfer email is tumblehme@aol.com Please keep in mind if you already have a booking with us, if you are arriving in May, June and July all deposits are due by January of the year you are arriving. If you are arriving in August all deposits are due in February of the year you are arriving and if you are arriving in Septmeber or October all deposits are due by March of the year you are arriving.  Please make sure you submit your depoits by these deadlines to avoid having your reservation cancelled.

Due to the time consumption, to avoid large line ups out the door on check in days, you can get your license thru www.ontario.ca or visit a near by Canadian Tire, bait shops, Outdoor Stores such as Bass Pro or at a Servive Ontario Center. We can only administer the paper copy of a license.
